On this episode of Were You Still Talking? I have George Siegal, with over 35 years of experience in television and film production. We talk about his new film The Last House Standing from Move the World Films (movetheworldfilms.org) and what everyone needs to know about preparing for disasters, buying and building better homes, and what it takes to make a documentary film. We also talk about insurance, FEMA, getting help after major disasters and what you need to do and know before a disaster strikes.

George is a former weatherman and TV reporter who covered countless stories about people who lost everything in disasters. In his current documentary film The Last House Standing he explores the fact that most people think catastrophic destruction will never happen to them. And they have no idea if their insurance will actually get them whole again.
