Tune in as Erwin connects with Dr. David Eagle who is the Assistant Research Professor of Global Health at Duke University. David Eagle, Ph.D., is a sociologist who studies the social and structural determinants of mental and physical health. His content expertise is in society and religion, including the changing role of religion in North American society and the role of race in religious structures. His methods expertise is in the collection and analysis of survey data. Dr. Eagle holds a Ph.D. in sociology from Duke University, a Master of Theology from Duke Divinity School, a Master of Divinity from Fresno Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. He is also one of the leading researchers, in a 12-year study, titled: "Reproducing inequality in a formally anti-racist organization: the case of racialized career pathways in the United Methodist Church."
