Ocean Heroes was formed by Sam Moyle, Luke Hallam and Tom Johnston in 2016. They believe that all children deserve the opportunity to learn social skills, bond with others, and figure out what works for them. They provide a unique opportunity for people on the Autism spectrum to take part in organised sport backed by a highly supported, safe and inclusive environment. By running free events and one-on-one surfing experiences, they offer the Autism community the chance to experience the thrill of riding a wave! The team at Ocean Heroes are raising funds to buy their own surfboards, wetsuits, lifejackets and a van to be able to take Ocean Heroes all over the state and make it more accessible, safe and fun. They believe everyone on the autism spectrum should have the opportunity to go surfing!
