June is National Safety Month; what a perfect time to discuss all incredible programs the NSSF offers to the public to insure the safe, proper ways to use and store firearms. This is a deep dive look into how much the NSSF does to educate and protect the public.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation is the trade association for the firearms industry. Since its founding in 1961, the NSSF has sought to represent the broad scope of the hunting and shooting sports industry. Members include manufacturers of sporting firearms and ammunition, a wide array of accessory and equipment manufacturers as well as distributors, retailers, shooting ranges and many other companies and organizations in the hunting and shooting sports community. Today, membership includes thousands of manufacturers, distributors, firearms retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen’s organizations and publishers nationwide.

To promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. Formed in 1961, NSSF has a membership of thousands of manufacturers, distributors, firearms retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen’s organizations and publishers nationwide.
