It's no secret that San Francisco International Airport places sustainability at its heart. Whether that be by making their buildings energy-efficient, promoting electric vehicle usage or supporting the development of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), its clear the airport is doing a lot to protect the environment. We also dissect SFO's Zero Carbon plans to better understand its positive impact. "To reach Net Zero Carbon, a big part of that is electrifying our buildings on campus. About 92% of our Scope 1 Emissions come from Natural Gas usage (from our buildings)".
