  • During her fertility and pregnancy experiences Ashley was often met with a firm “No.” when advocating for herself and how that changed her relationship to her body and her providers.
  • How meeting our own basic needs empowers us to self advocate and we cannot organize and make change until we can self advocate.
  • Meeting our own basic needs is how we honor ourselves and creates a smoother path to meet your goals. In terms of exercise we don’t need to beat ourselves up on the mat in order to make progress.

Ashley DeLeon (she/her) is a pilates instructor, mother and wellness influencer in NYC. She has been a pilates instructor for over 16 years and specializes in teaching students how to reach their movement goals in a progressive, joyful and organic way.

In 2020, Ashley closed her brick-and-mortar space and opened a virtual studio to create accessibility to her ever growing international community. She approaches her clients with excitement, empathy and true desire to share the many benefits of a fulfilling movement practice.

Ashley shares her creative movement life and wellness tips on her instagram account, Ashley DeLeon Pilates, where she blends pilates, yoga and dance to create movement experiences that are referential and expressive.
