Based on the iconic, Emmy-nominated series on A&E, this show explores some of the most difficult-to-solve murders, which stymied investigators and went cold, sometimes for decades. In fact, one-third of all murders in America remain open. But thanks to dogged investigators and breakthroughs in forensic technology, these cases become part of the rare 1% of cold cases that are ever solved. Cold Case Files is hosted by Paula Barros.

Welcome to A Little Less Mess, it's our companion episode to our main weekly releases. In ALLM, you will find just the facts, no opinions, no jokes, no banter, but do not fear! If you would like to hear our full thoughts on this case (and inappropriate jokes) check out the weekly regular episodes released on Thursdays (they're the numbered episodes).
We are headed to the Sunshine State this week to discuss the tragic murder of Saleha Huuda. When firefighters are called to put out a brush fire on the side of the road in Gainesville, they are shocked to find a body. When they learn the identity of that body, a beautiful cheerleader from the University of Florida, they are even more shocked. A pattern of abuse emerges leading police to the usual suspect and an unlikely accomplice.
Fun Fact: Coppertone Sunscreen was invented in Miami by pharmacist Benjamin Green. Green served in the Pacific during World War II, and he saw that he and his fellow soldiers needed some way to protect against the sun. He slathered red veterinary petrolatum, or “red vet pet,” as a physical barrier from the sun to prevent ultraviolet rays from hitting his skin. After the war, he added cocoa butter and coconut oil to make it more pleasant to smell which became Coppertone Sunscreen.
