If you’ve been thinking of selling your home without the help of an agent, you may want to reconsider. There are a few reasons why.


Should you try to sell your house on your own? The answer is no. While listing your property as For Sale By Owner might sound appealing, there are actually a few things you need to consider.

70% of people who originally list their homes as For Sale By Owner will eventually end up working with an agent anyway. So, why spend all that time and energy struggling to tackle things on your own in the first place? It just isn’t worth it.

In fact, 89% of people who previously attempted to list their homes themselves ended up getting more money for their property by listing with an agent.

Studies show that people who sell with a Realtor get 6% more for their house. Coincidentally, this approximately amounts to the Realtor’s commission.
