Join me as I read the 10 simple rules that Karen Le Billon created while living in France for a year with her husband and two kids. She goes through the ups and downs of figuring out exactly how the French approach mealtimes, manners, and food.
During Covid, I started implementing a lot of these food rules into our routines and they have stuck with us. No more mindless snacking, or eating just to eat. As a family, we often enjoy dinners together, and I invite my kids to cook with me.
Karen brings a lightness to her confusion and culture shock when figuring out what would work best for her and her family. I have quoted her throughout this podcast, and the quotations and pages from her book can be noted in the transcript section.
