We went with our usual food safety humor in the title, but... our main topic is not really funny.

Hundreds of children have become infected with e. Coli in a daycare outbreak in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The cases have been traced back to a central kitchen that provided food for a number of daycare centers. Children have been hospitalized and secondary infections have been recorded. Not good.

How did this happen? What can prevent this from happening again? And what might be the ramifications?

  • (00:30) - Calgary Daycare e. Coli
  • (38:22) - One Chip Challenge

Also in this week's episode: The One-Chip Challenge! Some nightmarish health inspector stories! And a big announcement (stick around until the end)...

We hope you enjoy this episode!
