Deuteronomy gives us Moses's final words to the people he has served for the last 40 years. He gives the people a kind of pep talk, basically saying, "Hey, don't forget who's got your back!" Within its chapters lie not only stories of the past but the laws and blessings imparted by Moses, serving as a guiding light for the new faithful generation.
Most importantly, Deuteronomy ends the way Genesis begins. Pointing to God’s desire to be with His people and His promise to be with us through all life’s problems.
