We want to walk in the light If you are a child of light, you have a realization there is a God, there is a rejection of devil, and you want to be a reflection of Jesus. Jesus says my time has now come. Prays to God to glorify God's name The prince of this world should be cast out Is the light with you, walk in the light Jesus pictures himself as the light of the world Darkness challenges God Challenged God in garden Light glorifies God Conceals who the devil is Light reveals the devil Crucified Jesus Light revealed Jesus and purpose of the crucifixion Confuse the purpose of one's life Clarifies the purpose of our life Walking in the light means... I believe in God I resist the devil I live for Jesus Philippians 1:21 3 areas we can shine like Jesus

1. We will have our wilderness temptation
   1. Matthew 4
   2. Devil doesn't play fair, comes at you at your weakest moment
      1. Lust of the flesh
      2. Lust of the eyes
      3. Pride of life
   3. Jesus taught us how to defeat the devil by walking in the light
2. We will have our garden of sorrow
   1. Luke 22
   2. Jesus in gesemene, at base of Mt of olives
   3. Praying and crying, sweating blood
   4. While men slept, Jesus wept
   5. If we are going to reign with Him, we must suffer with Him
   6. While we are in garden
      1. People in light want to help but may not understand
      2. People in darkness may not care
      3. Proverbs 14:10
      4. But Jesus does know and understand
   7. Can be a lonely place
3. We will have a Judas who betrays us, maybe several (John 18)
   1. Sometimes we might be right and them wrong
   2. Sometimes they might be right and us wrong
   3. Sometimes we both might be wrong
   4. Jesus washed the feet of Judas knowing what he going to betray
   5. If you're looking for me, let these other go their way
   6. Don't let it distract you from what you're going to do
