Happy New Year GLADGANG! Happy 2023!
We are back with another great episode. Comedian, actor and screenwriter Brandon Collins, stops by and we laugh it up about 90's movies, teaching and public transportation in Los Angeles.
Brandon Collins is an actor, podcast host, screenwriter, producer and stand-up comedian with experience in theater, film and sketch comedy. His credits include Rotten Tomatoes, RogerEbert.com, CollegeHumor, MTV, VH1, and the Huffington Post.
Brandon gained much of his acting experience in the suburbs of Ann Arbor, Michigan where he performed in numerous stage productions ("Dracula", "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying") and learned how to write and perform stand-up comedy. In the summer of 2004, he moved to New York where he decided to do the "school thing" and date hot Spanish women. After a few years into college, Brandon decided to pursue his love of performing again and began a career in comedy and producing his own shows.
Brandon would later produce and co-host "Comedy Outliers", a critically acclaimed monthly stand-up showcase that was featured in the New York Comedy Festival, NY Times, TimeOut NY, Metro NY and AM NY! "Comedy Outliers" also produced successful private comedy events for Yelp NYC and Webster Hall!
He is the producer and co-host for the increasingly popular movie podcast "Medium Popcorn (Niggas Spoilin' Movies)!", which is regularly listed on "Best of" podcast lists and is an accredited critic on "Rotten Tomatoes". Additionally, Brandon has appeared on several popular podcasts such as Robert Kelly's "YKWD", the Anthony Cumia show, PBR Podcast, "Tuesdays with Stories", "The Black Guy Who Tips" and "Keith and the Girl"! Brandon can be seen regularly throughout the NY comedy scene performing stand-up or working on his newest screenplay in a coffee shop with that same honey latte coffee he bought hours ago...
