Dr. Andrea Matsumura, M.D., a board certified Internal Medicine physician, is here to convince you that sleep is the missing link to better health. Dr. Matsumura initially worked as a hospitalist then transitioned to outpatient clinic work, where she sparked her love for sleep. Now, after being fellowship trained in Sleep Medicine, Dr. Matsumura describes herself as a wholistic sleep medicine physician and emphasizes to her patients the importance of sleep as a key piece to your overall health. She discusses the common problems surrounding sleep in our society and how these issues have profound effects on all facets of health including the immune system, which is ever so important during this pandemic.
