In this episode of "Help Me, Rhonda!," clinical psychologist Dr. Rhonda Karg discusses worrying and teaches two evidence-based tools to get out of your head and into your life. As a condition that can affect your mental and physical health, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is a condition in which the person worries about a variety of topics and finds it difficult to control the worrying. This is often accompanied by irritability, fatigue, muscle tension, headaches, stomachaches, unexplained pain, irritability, trouble falling or staying asleep, trouble concentrating, and your mind going blank. Dr. Karg also teaches the audience two skills that have been found to be highly effective for reducing worrisome thoughts and treating GAD so you can get out of your head and into your life again.
