Sarge talks about how he grew up around heavy gang involvement but was able to stay out of the gangs thanks to his stepdad telling him he was different. Sarge talks about how he went into the recruiters as a drunken dare. SGT Perez talks about his struggles with depression, and opens up on his suicide attempts.
