The former chief nursing officer at Adventist Health Mendocino Coast, she started her career in health care as a volunteer medic for the Anderson Valley ambulance service. She became an EMT, and then got her degree in nursing. A lifelong student, she also has a business degree in management and a master's degree in public education. In this interview, she fills us in on the history of health care district and how we lost ob-gyn services.
