Not only does Ken believe that everyone has an “Element” -- he also believes it is your destiny to find it. Robinson expresses over and over how our current educational system drains our children’s creativity, and oftentimes hinders our children more than helps them. Schooling can stifle their element.
Overall, The Element is a very structured, intellectual book that has a lot of insight to offer - especially when it comes to education.
