Are you anticipating the Holidays ahead as much as I am? I look forward to them every year. It brings me joy and hapiness to be able to share Jesus with others as I anticipate the days of celebration ahead, as well as the final desitnation at the end of our race in this life.
Today's episode is an encouragement for us to anticipate God's voice in our lives. Chapter 1 of Luke give us us a picture of a couple who have been praying, anticipating the answer to prayer for a long time, and when it looks like all hope is lost, the prayer is answered with a yes! After 400 years of silence, between the New and the Old Testaments, God speaks through an Angel to Zecariah the Priest. Zecariah's anticipation may have waned as he was very surprised to hear from the Angel. Are we walking through this life with anticipation of God's return for His Bride?
As we walk through our days of preparing for family and friends and house guests, let's keep our mind in anticipation and thankfulness for God's plans for our future and Hope!
