Staying at our first Harvest Host stay at a winery in New Mexico was awesome! We enjoyed an amazing wine tasting and more amazing wine to take back to the RV to enjoy later.
We were staying in a field behind the winery, and it began to rain... The owner said, "You wont get stuck back there."
As we began to pull out in the morning, the field was pretty mushy and it certainly rained a lot more than the weatherman predicted!
We rounded the corner and had 50 feet of field to cut through before we could get back to the road. As we rounded the tree, bam! Dead in our tracks! We sunk into the mud and now were unable to get out!
We tried everything: 4x4 low. Leveling blocks. Boards... Nothing worked. We kept sinking lower and lower in the mud.
While waiting for the owner to return with his backhoe, what did I spot out of the corner of my eye??!! Oh my! It was that ALL along!
