The greatest tragedy in life is not the death of loved ones like that of Job (Job 1:9-19) or disaster - the type that befell the Galileans whom Pilate killed and whose blood was mixed with their sacrifices nor that of the 18 people from Siloam on whom the tower fell and died - Lk. 13:1-5.The greatest tragedy in life is not knowing and living for the purpose of God for one’s life. The reason why people live their lives anyhow is that they have not come to discover the purpose of God for their existence. The principal reason why organizations dies is lack of purpose.
Knowing God’s purpose for your life according to Rick Warren, will “give meaning to your life,” “simplify your life,” “focus your life,” “motivates your life,” and “prepares you for eternity.”
Paul the Apostle came to discover the purpose of God for his life and he lived to fulfill
it. He was not disobedient to the heavenly vision - Acts 26:19. What about you? Have you discovered the purpose of God for your life? Are you living
for it? No matter the advancement that you make in life, if it is not in line with the purpose of God, it is an advancement in the wrong direction - Gal. 1:14. May you not experience that type of advancement in Jesus’ Name.
