SkeleTales hit the podcast charts in the Philippines so this week we dedicate this episode to all things creepy and haunted Filipino style.
Britt begins with a popular Filipino folklore about the Aswang.
This Vampire, were-beast, witch monster is the thing of nightmares. Such a versatile shape shifter leaves its mark on men, children and especially pregnant women.
Alissa adds to the Aswang lore with her story of the terrifying Manananggal. This first person story happened THIS February and has left its witnesses in therapy.
She also shares the lore of the Tambal, a Filipino Doppelganger. If you see yourself beware...you very well may turn into something you never imagined... a tree.
Britt tells a story from Cris Benjamin from YouTube @CreepyShorts27
Cris shares his story about a bus journey that had a mysterious passenger board, then vanish.
Alissa wraps up the episode with a story about a ghost sighting from Manilla that has haunted a family and they only just discovered all of them witnessed the same thing.
We learn of the book series True Philippine Ghost Stories that is filled with delightful true tales that will delight and horrify you.
