Do you have to bed-share, breastfeed and baby-wear in order to have a securely attached child?

Can your little one be TOO attached?

Are you making them clingy by contact napping and feeding on demand?

Is it your fault if your baby or toddler has a strong preference for one parent over the other?

These are really common questions that come up all the time, and there are also a lot of claims that sleep training will impact attachment as well - but what should we believe? What do we need to know about attachment?

To dig a little deeper into this subject I chatted to sleep coach, toddler mum and psychologist Charlotte Inskip who you may have come across online via her Instagram account @theholisticsleepmama

For more information about Charlotte and her work, see www.theholisticsleepmama.co.uk/

We mention a few books* in this episode:

The Power of Showing Up: how parental presence shapes who our kids become and how their brains get wired - by Daniel Siegel and Tina Payne Bryson

The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read (and Your Children Will Be Glad That You Did) - by Philippa Perry
