This week, Rye shares her experience with mold exposure in her current home and prior apartment, which have led to high levels of mycotoxins in her body. She then introduces Michael Rubino, an air quality expert and wellness advocate who is bridging the gap between our homes and their direct impact on health.

Michael is the founder of HomeCleanse, a company dedicated to addressing the worldwide health epidemic caused by poor indoor air quality. He works closely with the company's advisory team, which includes global well-being trailblazers Deepak Chopra’s The Chopra Foundation and Gwyneth Paltrow, to achieve the company's mission to improve the quality of life for 100 million people each year by 2030. Rubino is also the founder of Change the Air Foundation, a nonprofit committed to empowering the world to achieve better health by establishing safer and healthier indoor environments.

In an effort to share his expert knowledge, Rubino is an ongoing contributor to MindBodyGreen. He has been featured on Gwyneth Paltrow’s The goop Podcast, Vice TV, Vogue, LiveStrong, Dr. Will Cole's The Art of Being Well Podcast, Forbes, MarketWatch, and USA Today. Rubino has appeared on television as a featured expert, including local NBC, Fox, and ABC affiliates, to name a few.
