Take Notice: Amplifying Black Stories
Season 4, Episode 7: Lotten Yeaney
In this episode, we discuss Lotten Yeaney's experience immigrating to the US at a young age, family dynamics surrounding that move, and ending up in Chicago working in tech, and filmmaking.
Lotten Yeaney is the Executive Producer and storyteller behind the new relationship drama "Breaking Bounds," released by director Mark Harris on July 18, 2023, across the US and Canada. The film from L10 Group was executive produced by Lotten Yeaney, Garcon Moweh, and Lou Rago, written by Marvin Nelson and Yeaney, and produced by Latoya Hunter, Yeaney and Nelson. Almost ripped from the headlines, "Breaking Bounds" highlights the very real possibility of persecution for being a gay Ugandan national in the US and in danger of being deported, as well as the pull and challenge of multicultural relationships.
Lotten has spent over two decades in Information Technology managing and leading complex multi-year global projects. She has worked in various sectors including Consumer Products, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, and Client Service. Lotten also champions social equity through storytelling and focuses on ways to create an inclusive environment.
