Daphne Johnson, author and speaker, shares her journey of taking a leap of faith and answering the call to purpose. She talks about the pivotal moment during the pandemic when she realized she needed to do more with her life and how a conversation with a young woman in a shelter reminded her of her gift for writing and encouraging others. Daphne discusses the emotions and challenges she faced when deciding to leave her job to focus on writing her book, and how she eventually found a balance between work and her calling.

With a passion for life application of scripture, Daphne endeavors to share messages of hope, encouragement and inspiration. Daphne holds a Bachelor of Science in communication from the University of WI-Milwaukee, and a Master of Science from the Concordia University of Wisconsin. Daphne enjoys teaching, speaking and writing. In addition, she serves as an Associate Minister at Christ the King Baptist Church in Milwaukee, WI. Her other books are called Vision Inspired Living - Daily Inspirations for Single Mothers and Get Up Girl: Talitha Cumi - Twelve Dynamic Stories of Hope and Healing (contributing author).

​Daphne recently received the Inspirational Author Award from T.A.L.K. Consulting.

Rachel G. Scott is a devoted wife, mother, and Ohio native. She is also the author of the book, Taking the 5 Leaps and founder of the I Can’t Come Down Movement. As a Bible teacher and podcast host, she desires to inspire believers to walk in their purpose and assignment as they boldly take leaps of faith.
