PAUL "ROSCOE" WHITE│Work Hard, Don't Suck
Manage episode 449498525 series 1342400
For this episode of The All-Around Adventure Podcast, I'm joined by author and retired Air Force fighter pilot, Paul White. Call sign, Roscoe.
Roscoe began his career in the Air Force as an enlisted airman. Though he would eventually go on to become an officer and fly a variety of fighter jets. Such as the F-15E Strike Eagle, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, and the F-35 Lightning II. After 21 years of service with over 1,500 hours as a tactical flight instructor, Roscoe retired from the Air Force. Though he still continues to train and mentor young fighter pilots as a civilian contract fighter pilot instructor. Along with this, he is also a coach and a published author of the books Work Hard, Don't Suck, No New Lessons, and I Love America.
In this episode, Roscoe tells us about what led him to join the Air Force and become a fighter pilot. He also talks about what it took in order to be successful during the long training process that was involved in order to fly. Furthermore, we have a great discussion on some of the lessons that we learned while serving in the military and how they can be applied to various aspects of life.
