How many times today have you stopped and celebrated something that you did well? The fact that you woke up on time, you got out of bed, you made your bed, you took a shower, you brushed your teeth, you put on shoes, you smiled at the lady at the coffee shop. You waved at a puppy.
How many things have you done well? My assumption is that some of the things that I just listed you didn't do, and you immediately let yourself beat yourself up about it. You're like, oh, I should've done that. I should have brushed my teeth. Yes, you absolutely should have brushed your teeth. You are correct to that is not the point here.
You have to celebrate yourself.
Because your mind will already beat you up all day about the things that you don't do well. You have to combat that with celebrating.
Today's episodes shares some tips and tricks, the why behind it and also my personal experience with celebrating myself.
