I then introduce my local friend Brooks to do a breakdown of the 1996 popular Michael Bay film, The Rock. I embarrass Brooks about being my smartest friend and he is very modest about it. We start briefly discussing Seinfeld, analyze the series high-level, and rank main characters. (10:30-18:24)
We start breaking down The Rock- We give executive summaries for the hypothetical scenario if someone unfamiliar walked into the room. We talk about Alcatraz as a tourist destination. We then discuss major actors including Nicholas Cage and his mid 1990s run where he was much younger than most to peak. We talk about what we like about The Rock as a film warts and all.
