For the longest time I was terrified of facing my emotions and the stuff that had happened in my past that made me want to vomit even remotely thinking about it. So... I didn't. Until I got to a point in my life that so much was happening that I didn't like and I so desperately wanted to change it.What I realized was that I had a choice.
