When faced with stressful situations, your body responds by entering into fight-or-flight mode, a natural protective mechanism. This mode activates your sympathetic nervous system, triggering an increase in heart rate and blood pressure, muscle constriction, and a temporary halt in digestion. These physiological changes are intended to prepare you to either confront the threat or escape from it. However, prolonged or frequent activation of this response can have negative effects on your well-being.
In today's episode, I want to share some valuable tools that can assist you in regulating your nervous system and processing emotions, promoting your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
