Have you ever watched a badass woman kick butt onscreen and thought, how did she do that? Most likely, the actress relied on a stunt double. Today’s guest is a seasoned stunt performer and a leading actress, a Hollywood rarity! There are only a few females in the industry with the experience to lead big budget stunt scenes where the performer may only get one or two takes to get it right due to the high cost of expensive action scenes. That’s where pros like her come in. She enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts on a full scholarship and her first break came with A&E's drama Those Who Kill, playing Marlene Anderson. During this time Kate's physical background led to action performing. She previously toured the world singing Rockabilly under music label Ultra Records. Do you remember the lady who swung from a helicopter in Spider-Man Homecoming? Yes, that’s her. She’s been lit on fire multiple times, and completed life-threatening chase scenes on motorcycles! Her most recent work as a double was on TV’s Lethal Weapon reboot and the Christmas blockbuster Patriot’s Day starring Mark Wahlberg.
