Continuing my chat with social action activist, educator and psychotherapist Dr. Angelica Pinna-Perez.

In Part I of our discussion we started taking a closer look at our understanding of racism and how it is built into our systems (internal and external).

We continue that in part II, exploring topics of race in mental health care, suicide prevention, pop culture representation and police brutality.

How and what can we reframe to feed our evolution and allow that to become our revolution?

This episode does touch on sensitive subjects regarding suicide prevention. If you are in danger of hurting yourself please reach out. The counselors at the crisis text line are ready to support you.
