I’d rather fail at holding onto a bad relationship, then fail to let it go and be hurt by it.” - Johnnie Williams III

Which BATTLE do you feel justifies your engagement?

  • the outer battles w/others
  • the inner battles w/self

We are often lured into battles over:

Relationship issues, political differences, our children's issues, acts of disrespect, unmet desires, financial spending, family drama, lack of compromise, and misunderstandings with others.

If you think about it…we are energy, and each battle robs us of that - that we truly are (which is energy). Who has time to fight their personal battles when there’s always an outer battle enticing us to engage our energy?

So many of us struggle with holding onto the wrong relationships for too long and fail to let them go before getting hurt. This is often because we struggle with these 4 common influences:

  1. The peers we’ve allowed to negatively influence us and our decisions.
  2. The problems that we create for ourselves and/or inherit from others.
  3. The pressures we all struggle with to meet the challenges of life and/or the expectations of others.
  4. The pride that we apply in very dysfunctional ways that doesn’t benefit us; but rather opposes our forward progress.

ASK YOURSELF:

Was there a time that this was your experience?

How did you come to the decision to finally let go?
