Ever wondered if your period is normal? What happens when you come off the pill? Maria is answering your questions on this episode.

Maria Rafferty from The Hormone Health Coach has spent over ten years working with women - from teenage period pain to menopause and everything in between. Maria has worked with groups of women in postpartum classes, menstrual health workshops, and fertility seminars.

On this episode, Maria chats to me about what a healthy period looks like (pain, clotting, acne, etc), endocrine disruptors, what happens to your body when you take the pill and when you come off it. Her quote "something is common doesn’t mean it's normal" is a reassurance to us all that just because we are women, doesn't mean we have to be in pain.

For reference, we spoke about Period Power by Maisie Hill in this episode, along with Alexandra Pope, founder of Red School.
