The company recently announced that it has dosed the first patient in a Phase 1 clinical trial evaluating its experimental therapeutic peptide, AZP-3601, for a life-altering rare disease called hypoparathyroidism. This is Amolyt’s first clinical trial as a company. The trial, being conducted at sites in Europe, will test whether AZP-3601 will benefit patients with hypoparathyroidism by restoring lasting levels of calcium in their blood.
