Building Education is a For-Purpose Organization 501(c)3 that provides funding for education to children of developing countries in efforts to end poverty. In collaboration with the government, partner organizations, and local schools, the organization aims to transform rural villages into prosperous, dignified communities.

Stephanie Lim is the Secretary for Building Education as well as a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience specializing in physical rehabilitation nursing and geriatric care. She is based in Los Angeles, CA, and her personal mission is to help provide marginalized people in developing countries access to educational resources and leadership opportunities.
Prashansa (Shansa) Vaidya is the Nepal Director & PR for Building Education. Aside from the organization, she also works as a Senior Implementation Analyst for a data company based out of NYC and gives back to Meals on Wheels. She was born in Kathmandu, Nepal, and is a strong believer in the power of positivity, having always lived her life seeing the glass half full.
