The winter was ending, and several of our Homeless Friend's had died on the streets that winter. More than 36,000 homeless people had died on the streets in America that year. I was looking for answers. One of my homeless friends handed me a book and asked me to be his Ally. I didn't know what he meant, but the book he gave me changed my perspective on everything. The book was from Move the Mountain, now called Circles USA. As I read that book, I learned some of the causes of poverty, but for the first time, I was offered a proven way to lift people out of poverty and eradicate it all together. This week we get Up Close with Scott Miller, the Founder, and CEO of Circles USA and Author of "Until It's Gone: Ending Poverty in Our Nation, in Our Lifetime" This e will leave you inspired, hopeful and with the tools to DO SOMETHING!
