This week we speak with Western Outdoor News Staff Editor Mike Stevens, and get a quick review on the ICAST show held in Orlando Florida. Mike talks about the positive outlook of show participants, as well as the direction the industry seems to be taking. More to come from ICAST in future episodes. We then get the chance to sit down with local surf fishing guide Ben Hervey-Murray to talk about a couple recent rare catches in the surf. We also get into his history as a fisherman, and his journey to becoming a surf fishing guide in Southern California. Ben explains his passion for teaching any new angler in the sport about the proper techniques and gear to be successful in the surf.
