If the mental health professional believes that an emotional support animal would be beneficial for the individual, they can then provide the necessary documentation. In addition to the emotional support animal letter, individuals may also need to provide documentation for their emotional support dog's vaccination and health records, as well as any additional requirements from their airline or housing provider.
