For this special episode I welcome back British Mountain Bike National Champion Cam Orr to talk about his racing in 2022.
Cam and I chat about him heading out to South Africa to take on Cape Epic, the toughest mountain bike stage race in the world. We also talk about the years Mountain bike World Cups, including racing in Brazil for the first time and qualifying for his first World Cup Short Track race before the end of his first year as an Elite senior.
In the Summer, Cam was once again selected to represent Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and I was lucky enough to experience the amazing atmosphere at the mountain bike race at Cannock Chase.
After winning the British National title, Cam headed out to Les Gets in France to represent GB at the Mountain Bike World Championships competing in the Team Relay, Short Track and XCO races.
Cam has now joined Wilier Pirelli Factory Team and we talk about his goals for 2023 including hopes to once again represent GB at the Mountain Bike World Championships in Glasgow in August.
