For almost 30 years, Tammy has been on a mission to help small businesses succeed—solopreneurs or small business owners in the early stages of their business.
"I am the hold-your-hand-and-kick-your-ass business coach. That’s what my clients have named me," says Tammy. "It breaks my heart when wonderful people with wonderful products or services fail in their business, not for lack of hard work. They just don’t have enough foundational business skills."
Tammy is especially passionate about helping women business owners succeed. She reminds women to have the essential conversations that can address the implicit biases that prevent them from taking larger risks.
"Women hold themselves back and don’t even realize it," points out Tammy. "We hide behind perfectionism and don't grab the opportunities to reach for bigger leadership roles."
With her refreshing candor, she also holds herself accountable when she says, "People in privileged positions like myself should invite others who are less privileged to get up on the stage, give them the mic and sit our asses down and shut up!"
