Presidents, 46 and counting. Most every one had a different taste for spirits and cocktails a scant few abstained from the drink. On this President's Day we run through some of the choices of our past presidents. Joining us for the conversation is fan of the show and fan of bourbon, George Munger. He shares with us some information on President Truman. Truman was one of the leaders that consumed the most and bourbon in particular. Matt Fox tips his hat to President John F. Kennedy by mixing up one of his favorites, the Bloody Mary. August has two tributes for the episode. First up a shot of Screwball, PEANUTbutter whiskey, a toast to President Jimmy Carter. Second up is a cocktail named for a president, McKinley's Delight.
Here is the recipe August created for us.
