“We keep missing the moment that we’re in” – Pema Chodron. I have loved this quote since the first day I read it many years ago. Yes, the quote has inspired me, but yet I still miss so many moments.

• I still get stuck in my head over trivial matters.
• I still get caught up in busyness.
• I still get distracted by technology and other shiny objects.

In this episode I share a moment when my busyness came to a full stop.

I was sitting at the edge of the Long Island Sound with my mother and daughters and I felt a moment—as it was happening—a moment so precious, so amazing and yet so ordinary.

It took me almost 57 years to feel this special moment to not miss this moment, one that had occurred so many, many times in my life.
