On this week’s episode of Open, Emma is joined by Rosemary Reed. Rosemary is the co-founder of POW TV Studios - the female led production company behind critically acclaimed programmes such as Driving Force, The Power of Women and Living the Life.
She is a philanthropist, passionate about animal rights and environmental issues, campaigning tirelessly for female equality and diversity and was awarded the Gender Equality Advocate Award at this year’s Global Woman Awards.
Rosemary set up the first ‘One Stop Centre’ for Domestic Violence in Central London and has recently become an ambassador for Refuge. She works with the Jane Goodall Institute and is president of the Soho House 10:10 Club which provides a platform for women aged 40 and beyond.
In this episode, Rosemary talks about leaving school at 15 to work as a stunt rider on the 1970’s classic The Adventures of Black Beauty, the career that followed and the vision she always had for the life she was determined to create.
