João Pedro Ribeiro is the CEO of PeekMed, an AI-based pre-operative planning system for orthopedic surgery. Biomedical Engineer by training with a Master’s degree in Medical Informatics, considers himself as a geeky perfectionist and passionate about technology and medical imaging. João has a clear vision on how PeekMed can help the orthopedic market current challenges‘: “With PeekMed, the surgeon can clearly understand the patient’s problem and simulate different outcomes, by selecting the best implants. By doing this, PeekMed is trying to help improve surgical outcome while helping the decrease the overall cost of healthcare.”
