In this episode I talk through the period of my life whilst I was a serving Metropolitan Police probationary officer (2009). I will talk about how I was sexually assaulted on multiple occasions by my then line manager, a serving Metropolitan Police Sergeant.
I have recorded this episode today, on the day that Baroness Louise Casey has released a report into the culture and standards of the Metropolitan Police Service.

Baroness Casey was tasked with the investigation after serving police officer Wayne Couzens murdered Sarah Everard. She told the BBC that institutional racism, sexism and homophobia were present "across the organisation".
Author of landmark report says Met can ‘no longer presume that it has the permission of the people of London to police them’

The Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has said that he accepts Baroness Casey's "diagnosis".
I have struggled to find the strength to record this episode as it contains the details of the traumatising sexual assaults I experienced. I have tried on two occasions to record it but just couldn't get all the words out. This report today has given me the jolt I needed to try and get my story out there, in the hope to help others.

All episodes are unedited so that I can speak with our truest words and don't have to painfully listen back at this time.
