I love setting a good, actionable goal, but one of the early themes in James Clear's book "Atomic Habits" poo-poos goals in favor of systems & processes. As I read about it, it stopped me dead in my tracks and think it deserves a thorough investigation to see how that thought can help you AND me hit our weight loss goal or ANY OTHER goal that we might have in mind for ourselves.
This is a great discussion and topic as we move through the holiday months. Take good care of your midlife health friends. It will save you some day.
