The Wind and The Wave started as an unofficial SXSW showcase, because our friends in bands couldn’t get into a proper SXSW showcase. We did it two years in a row, and it was a huge success. It also became the name of a songwriting group we started back in the day. By the way, those are a great way to hone your craft.
