Inflammation—it’s a word that gets thrown around a lot, especially when we’re talking about health. But what does it really mean for our bodies? Think of inflammation like a fire alarm. Sometimes, it’s helpful, like when your body is fighting off an infection. But when that alarm keeps going off without a real emergency, it can cause damage over time, leading to a host of chronic diseases.


So, what’s setting off the alarm? Often, it’s the foods we eat. While some foods can calm the fire, others can stoke the flames.
